It’s that time of year again when we have the Scholastic Book Fair in the library! There are loads of titles to choose from, some from as little as £2.99. As well as books, there is lots of lovely stationery and some awesome posters.
We’re also running a secondhand book sale, with paperbacks at 20p and hardbacks at 50p. Bargain!
Come along during Rec and Lunch until Wednesday next week. Every purchase you make from the Book Fair earns reward points that we can spend on shiny new library books!
The library has hosted two Scholastic book fairs this year. Sales were fantastic, generating over £1100 in reward points for the library, which has been spent on new fiction! We will be holding more book fairs in the 2016/17 academic year. Keep an eye out for information in the school bulletin and here on the library blog!
We always run a secondhand sale in conjunction with the book fairs. Books are sold for as little as 20p. This enables us to clear out older stock, raise money, and make room for new items. If you have any items which you would like to donate to the library then please get in touch with Miss Lees. All childrens’/YA fiction gratefully received!
